We run splash sessions on various dates in the summer holidays, from 2-3pm and 3-4pm
Come along, jump in, cool off… The pool is perfectly suited for just this on a warm sunny afternoon.
There is a great selection of water equipment, from a poolside goal and balls to woggles, floats and dive toys.
We cannot run a session unless there are two volunteers willing to attend (a first aider and a parent helper). Read more about volunteers
Summer Swimming Session FAQ’s
How much does it cost?
A one-hour swim session costs £2.50.
Do you need to book?
No need to book, just turn up on the day. The splash sessions are offered on a first come first served basis (we allow up to 20 people in the pool per session). Pool parties must be booked in advance.
How do you find out about last-minute changes?
Last minute changes will be updated on this website as well as our Facebook page.
Cancellation / bad weather policy
We will update the website and Facebook page with cancellations of any splash sessions.
- We run two one-hour splash sessions on the days that the pool is open.
- Those who arrive for the second hour will take priority over those who have already been in the pool for the first hour.
- If there are spaces left after those who’ve arrived for the second session are in the pool, priority will be given to the children of those who are volunteering as first aider and parent helper. Following this, names will be put in a hat to allocate remaining spaces fairly.
